Our Development Process: Inception

In the inception phase, we need to meet with the primary stakeholders and broadly define the magnitude of the project. Is the goal feasible from both a business and a technical perspective? This is particularly crucial because it is all too common for technical solutions to be to be founded on presumed user needs and presumed market demand, only to discover too late that false assumptions about users or the needs of the system won't support initial goals.

Through meetings with the primary stakeholders, requirements gathering and creation of a Scope and Vision document, Swipht begins to transform the original vision into an actual project. By establishing clear goals and user needs during the Inception Phase, considerable time and money will be saved in subsequent phases by avoiding the high cost of fixing a failed design.
