Our Development Process: Elaboration
The primary purpose of this phase is requirements gathering and defining the architecture. At the end of this phase Swipht will provide a comprehensive plan showing how the next two phases will be done. This includes:
- A baseline product vision (i.e., an initial set of requirements) based on an analysis model
- A baseline software architecture
- A resource plan outlining the human and technical resources necessary to develop and deploy the product
- A schedule of milestones
- A resolution of the risks sufficient to make a "high fidelity" cost, schedule, and quality estimate of the Construction Phase
At the end of this phase, the client will need to make a final decision regarding whether or not to actually invest and build the product. Swipht’s plans will be detailed with the risks sufficiently identified to be able to determine with accuracy the cost and schedule for the completion of the development.
