Janrain provides a turnkey user management platform to help any organization connect to the social web and quickly engage with their online users. Founded in 2005 with a focus on building the ecosystem for user-centric identity, JanRain has evolved to provide turnkey solutions that enable organizations to build deeper, more engaging relationships with their users and connect their online presence to the social web.
Janrain’s innovation milestones and technical expertise:
- First to provide a turnkey solution to enable authentication from multiple identity providers
- Deep technology partnerships with leading players in the market - AOL, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, MySpace, Plaxo, Twitter, Yahoo!
- Developed the open source libraries that now power login for majority of the OpenID enabled sites
- Instrumental in co-founding the OpenID Foundation
- First to provide a private label, branded OpenID provisioning solution
- Created the most popular consumer facing identity solution (myOpenID) for internet users to establish an OpenID
Swipht and its creative partner, Fancypants design, rebranded their identity with a new logo, website design and information architecture. We then built a brand new website in Drupal that combines multiple company and product sites into one.
The site launched late Spring of 2010.
