Company Overview

The Howard S. Wright Companies provide professional construction services in the areas of commercial, institutional and industrial building. They operate from seven offices throughout the western United States. Each office functions as an independent business unit following the principles of a unified corporate vision. One of the Howard S. Wright companies, Howard S. Wright Construction Co., was founded in 1885, making it one of the oldest operating contractors on the west coast.

Opportunity

Given our close relationship with the Howard S. Wright companies due to our work on their past projects, they turned to Swipht to help re-build their web presence. Swipht was tasked to create a uniform, consistent look and feel for all of the sites while simultaneously allowing for multiple logos and color schemes that matched the individual company's brands.

Solution

Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) was chosen to be the platform for developing the websites. WSS was selected because it can be easily integrated into a future release of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS).

Results

Swipht developed a new, information architecture in addition to a unified look and feel for six new websites. Using WSS, Swipht also integrated a way for content editors to easily update information without having to manage content in multiple locations.
