How we estimate a Project

Software cost estimation and control is a complex activity that requires knowledge of a number of key attributes. Accuracy depends on how well the relationships existing among scores of parameters that can affect the outcome of a project are understood. During the project’s initial discovery period, various estimating techniques are used to assist in the cost estimating process. We know that the success of your project depends on a good estimate and that is why we spend the necessary time up front discovering all the requirements before we commit to a specific estimate.

After a final estimate is given, a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) is produced and approved by all parties. If it appears that man hours are exceeding projections, revised estimates are created for client approval before any new work begins. When changes to the project arise at this point, a change-order process is initiated. However, our delivery process allows the client to refine requirements early on, which helps greatly in anticipating and accommodating any changes.
