Boora Architects started optimistically but humbly in a trailer in suburban Gresham, Oregon. Since Boora first opened its doors in 1958, they've offered an ever-widening range of architectural, interior design, and planning services. Today, from an award-winning design studio on the top floor of a historic building in downtown Portland, Boora takes part in forward-looking Portland’s vibrant culture and experiments with possibility. Although based in Portland, Boora works throughout the United States where their critically-recognized expertise in problem-solving, innovation, and sustainability can heal the earth, improve the human condition, and provide humanity with sublime experiences of uncommon beauty.

Solution

Having decided to launch their site on the powerful and extensible Concrete5 CMS, Boora tapped Swipht to build out their new website. In theming the Concrete5 instance, Swipht was able to quickly and efficiently translate a complicated design into a fluid user experience. The complicated design included a a custom scrollbar, lots of Java script and nontraditional navigation.
