Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We are writing to announce that in December, Swipht Technologies is pleased to bring you our first monthly E-Newsletter.

We’ve been building website and applications for awhile now and we think it’s time to share some of our knowledge and exciting discoveries with you. Early Christmas present? Absolutely! You can use our information to:

• Make better decisions on your own website
• Gain new business contacts with our past and present clients
• Get feed-back on your tech questions and ideas

Sure we will be sharing monthly updates with you on what’s happening here at Swipht, but our ultimate goal is to create a meaningful dialog with you, our readers. Some of the topics that we think you will find useful are:

• What’s new in the technology world: We will cover items like Google’s new web based operating system, Chrome OS.
• SEO tips and tricks: Easy ways to optimize your site for Search Engines
• Using new Social Networking tools, like using Gigya and Ning

If there is something that you would like us to write about or a question you would like us to answer, simply add it as a comment in the blog. Swipht News

Since we haven’t heard from many of you in quite a while, I just want to get you caught up with what’s happening at Swipht nowadays. Here’s a quick summary:

• We are doing a lot of Drupal work recently. (If you are unfamiliar with Drupal, you can check out our website at http://www.swipht.com/drupal) . We recently launched a very large multi-site Drupal installation for Portland State (130+ websites and growing) and we've found a pretty good niche within the Drupal community. Maybe you remember us as .Net and Ruby custom application developers? We still do that, but we love working in Drupal! In fact, we recently re-launched our own website in Drupal.
• We hired a full-time system administrator not too long ago. He and Brian are working on a multi-site hosting, monitoring and Drupal profiling platform. You’ll hear more about that project pretty soon.
• We’ve launched quite a few new projects lately, including one for Vitamin Angels to help reduce child mortality. If you want to check out our recent work, check out the results section of our website

We hope everyone on our newsletter list is doing well and you have a safe journeys if you are travelling anywhere this holiday season. We look forward to hearing from you! What are your new projects?
